Josef Quis ( borned on 25.7.1964 in Ostrava ) graduated on Pedagogical faculty, University of Ostrava, Departments of Czech language and Fine arts.

1988 - 1991 he worked in Short film Prague ( Film Studio Prométheus in Ostrava ).

Now he is working as a freelancer since the year 1991.

In his portfollio there are illustrations of children´s books ( about 15 titles ), film animations, CD-R multimedia and games for children, painting, drawing as well as commercial art.

He is a member of surrelaistic group "stir up".
